For those who want to minimize interactions, a public Dropbox is available during courthouse hours. Federal employees with access to the buildings can also use Dropbox in the evenings or on weekends. Secretariat staff retrieve documents from mailboxes at 9:00 a.m. every day the court is open. From the west points: I-64 East through the Hampton Roads Bridge tunnel to the Naval Base/Granby Street (#276A) exit. Keep left on Granby Street. Granby Street downtown to the courthouse (left at the intersection of Granby Street and Brambleton Avenue). Visitors enter the courthouse through the building`s main entrance on Granby Street North. You must go through a magnetometer and your bags will be x-rayed by an X-ray machine. You must present a piece of government-issued photo identification, such as a driver`s license.
This public notice lists the designated court access coordinators in each divisional office. Access Coordinators are responsible for coordinating appropriate tools and services for participants (not spectators) in court proceedings with communication disabilities. The public is prohibited from bringing cell phones, smart watches, pagers, PDAs, laptops, cameras, tape recorders and other personal electronic devices into the courthouse.
